Examination Pattern

Pre-Primary

Various forms of assessments are used in the ELC. Careful observations are recorded regularly by teachers to guide their understanding of each child's progress and that of the groups.
Portfolios are compiled to document each child´s development. These are sent home at the end of every term.
Parent teacher conferences are held during the school year.

Primary and Secondary

Students are continually assessed using a variety of methods including written reports, student-led conferences, and presentations. Assessment is integral to learning as it provides opportunities for the students to reflect on what they know, understand and can do.
The teacher's feedback to the students provides the guidance, tools and incentive to help them become more competent and skillful learners who are better able to understand how to learn.
Assessment focuses on the quality of student learning during the process of learning as well as the result.
